Florida Tropics’ 20-Game Indoor Soccer Season Starts Nov. 10

Lakeland’s newest sports franchise, the Florida Tropics, will play a 20-game soccer season starting Nov. 11 as part of the new Indoor Professional League, team owner Andrew Haines announced today.

FSC Professor Going to Peru as a Fulbright Scholar

Carmen Gauthier, a chemistry professor, has become the second Florida Southern College faculty member named a Fulbright Scholar. The honor will let her teach in her home country of Peru this fall.
